A lot of my friends, including me, has been wondering why the turnout of events has been really bad. in some weird cosmic way, we are all having this certain phase in life where we see ourselves squiggling like a fish out of water, trying to breathe as deep as we can.
it just got to a point where i start to wonder if its really about the stars. i mean... bat sabay sabay lahat ng friends ko? two nights ago, i was so down, i went to ryan's house, made my killer chocolate ice cream cake, and made them eat it. and that very same night, trish was having that feeling too. (that feeling where you feel so bored, down, and uneasy... without knowing the reason why.)
she texted me up to meet at rob place yesterday to grab something that could make us happy. who said you cant buy happiness? of course you can. you cant buy COMPLETE PERMANENT happiness... because hello it doesnt exist. well if it really does. you get to die after getting that. so im not asking for it.... yet.
a couple of my dearest friends lost someone important in their lives. and it was too sudden, its like, hitting your head on a wall so hard, you get to be disoriented for... you dont know til when. and after that, things might get a little complicated. or more. and as a friend... i cant even find the right words to give them comfort.
oh and by the way, i hate to be a very self-involving person. i get so emotional. when a friend tend to be so sad, i get to be sadder. so i dont think im the greatest company youll want to have. well... i could be if you wanna drown in sorrow.
aw man. its 140pm and now i wanna get drunk. lets sleep the year off. come on now.

ReplyDeleteako rin kailangan ng killer chocolate ice cream cake. i've been feeling weirdly emotional since the weekends. iyak talaga ako sa konting bagay. at sobrang nakakaself-esteem at career crisis ako. nakakapagtaka na all of a sudden.

ReplyDeleteWith less than 2 months after the beginning of this year, you and I lost people who are irreplaceable. I think it's safe to say that the people we lost are those whose departures surely shattered our lives and goals. I know mine is. : (
If it weren't for the remaining souls I treasure like you guys, I wouldn't even be here. 2008 indeed started with a bang.
