Have you ever tried looking back, and thought... everything was so much easier. It was easier to committ mistakes, and yet never regret it. Easier to procrastinate, coz you always think theres so much time, and you detest that opportunities doesnt knock twice. It was easier to trust, and no matter how scarred you get, you always think its a symbolism of your bravery. Of you taking risks. And now, the wounds that you had hurts more than it was before when someone accidentally touches it.
It was easier for change back then. Do you ever get that feeling that its much scarier now to take one step away... or even forward? Those laughters that felt sincere and now... you become so cynical, you try to own paranoia at its finest.
I think we are not afraid to get old. Were just becoming more aware of reality around us. And we all know its not a pretty sight.
Ive never regretted anything. Its just that... i regret that i know more.
