ive never imagined that such a bad day could make me laugh until i went home.
just arrived from makati with josh and marvin. eTelecare called me up last week coz alvin referred me to them. and i thought... hey.. i think its time for me to be stable and get some company benefits again. so why not. i didnt expect that josh and i had the same sched. wow alvin mustve had a 1000 peso load by now. (promotional thing by the way. once ur referral passed the screening process... youll have a 500 peso load).
so 1pm, had my long sleeves folded, combed my hair, wore slacks and made my black shoes shine like the sun. called up josh but he didnt answered so i assumed he fell asleep and backed out. when i got inside the cab, he called me up coz he just didnt feel his cellphone vibrate. he was 5 minutes late i presume. so i had the cab go back to where i came from and picked josh up. the cab driver was grumpier than oscar the grouch, believe me.
when we got out of the cab, i checked inside and i saw something. thought it was the seatbelt buckle so i ignored it. but i had a second look and opened the door to check. twas josh's cellphone. and after getting it, my shoe got stuck and the sole was removed halfway. he lost his pen as well so we thought of dropping by 711. i bought mighty bond and hooray for the free pen. never imagined it will be that helpful. i emptied the tube on my shoe sole and stood on one foot. we walked by the sidewalk of leviste then a man tapped me and said... "may naiwan ka o!" pointing at my sole shoe. josh and i were laughing so bad and i was fckin embarssed to still go inside PBCom towers. i think my right side is half an inch shorter, so im walking like i have polio.
JOSH: "Tanggalin mo na kasi yung isa para di na halata?"
ME: "Eh kung sumama rin yung pinakadinidikitan nung swelas, e di malamang nakapaa nako di ba?"
so i thought... "shit. these are bad signs."
ME: "uwi na talaga ko (trying to supress one CHUNK of a laugh)"
JOSH: "andito ka na e. tuloy mo na."
and man we had a 3-hour long exam which is fckin difficult (I MEAN HELLO WINDOWS 2000?? AS IF I CARE!). out of less than 40 people, only 3 persons passed. including me. :D and i guess the abandonment of my sole's the payment. HA FUCKING HA! while taking the exam, i had my other sole removed. so its like im wearing karate shoes. NOT FUNNY.
from 3 to 1. i was the only one who ALMOST signed the contract this day but i insisted to be assigned as a TSR. they said theyll call me up until friday but they assured me that i passed. WOOHOO!
then i went to glorietta coz josh is waiting there for me and met up with marvin then ate a burger. marvin had an extra pair of red shoe so i looked like a fat korean guy wearing a red slip-on over his black pants. bought 2 tokens to get a stuffed toy (20Php) and i only got 4 mentos. better late than never.
to make the story short... bumuhos ang ulan, wala kaming masakyan, nag bus kami, sabay ang traffic, tapos nagintay uli ng jeep. sinubukang maglakad pauwi pero baha so bumalik kami tapos nabastos pa kami ng mga tambay sabay nung nakasakay na kami, nabangga yung jeep so naglakad na talaga kami then decided to pass by my sisters house. ayun kumain na lang kami.
