It's the 3rd and new, in all sense of the word, album of a certain band fused by classic, alternative and parts of other genres you never thought would be happening. They are called Silent Sanctuary. The band had previous vocalists and this time, Sarkie Sarangay, the new vocalist and guitarist of the band found them a new sound comparing to their previous independent albums in which had this certain gloom, unlike

Fuchsiang Pag-ibig's upbeat and bittersweet lyrics.

The band members complimented each other although influenced by different artists. for instance, drummer Allen Calixto and Paolo Legaspi the bassist (thanks for the correction ), are fans of Dave Matthews, then Yo Yo Ma, Stephanie Grapell, Apocalyptica and of course, the Eraserheads are the ones who made form for the classically trained Anjo Inacay in cello and Chino David in violins. the alternative OPM scene was glad to have produced a new breed of eclecticism that made hearts in this country pound a little faster.

It may come as a surprise to you when you might've had drowsed into one of their songs, but listen carefully as Silent Sanctuary may play the song you've never thought you've felt. The song "kismet", or fate as we call, have given enough goosebumps to look back or see forward to emotions that was kept inside our deepest regrets.

The violin and cello could have given them a certain place in the band scene but Chino David's talents never failed us to impress when he started to arrange songs from 2005's first Rockestra featuring the Manila Symphonic Orchestra with Twisted Halo, Imago, Sugarfree, Sandwich and themselves, Silent Sanctuary. Everybody acknowledged the fact that this band will go way further than anyone will be expecting.

Upon the release of their latest album last January of this year, the band captured an array of audiences from the musically inclined rocker type, to that lovestruck highschool kid.
