Snicket's idea of a story.

i dont know if i already posted the details of my sickness but i think the chain of events were pretty interesting so here it goes.

i grew up in a family who self-medicates. and im confident that wikipedia and a thick pharmaceutical book helps me get through the fevers and the headaches.

last july 29, i had a migraine and i have to go somewhere, so i had one painkiller from germany (that i dont know the brand but it really helped me with those brackets adjustment days) then went on with my day. it always makes me feel really light headed. the morning of the 30th left some bad headache. feeling ko, its because i was sleepy when i had the medicine pero i kept myself awake the night before. naisip ko... simulan ko na kaya uling magmultivitamins tsaka ascorbic acid. so i got 2 tablets of vitamin c then a multivitamin. july 31st, i was pretty warm. sininat ako and i thought baka naambunan ako ng gabi so uminom ako ng paracetamol then went to greenhills then watched ratatouille.

before watching kumain muna ako sa le ching ng 2 orders ng shrimp hakao. i am fully aware na allergic ako sa shrimp and since nasanay akong kumain nun without feeling anything funny, tuloy pa rin ako. while watching the movie, i felt REALLY HOT as in *snap* and then i felt like i had cramps. so nung umuwi ako, uminom agad ako ng bioflu. kasi akala ko trangkaso.

august 1 passed like HELL. the whole day, i was throwing up, causing my throat to hurt a lot more then my temperature was soooo high, i thought im going to go to the hospital by myself. dumating si che and nagpabili ako ng amoxicillin. isa.

i am aware that antibiotics should be taken as a set. and supposedly diagnosed ka with a certain bacteria/virus para merong patayin ang drug. pero shempre, sa dami ng iniinom ko, isa lang ang ininom ko until august 3. thats a friday.

nagising ako without a fever PERO i twsited my left shoulder while sleeping so ang sakit. may pilay ako, and then my system was vulnerable then when i tried swallowing coffee... fuck sobrang maga ng throat ko. at nagcause uli ng panibagong lagnat.

it was nasopharyngitis plus tonsillitis caused by an allergic reaction, vomiting and a very weak immune system. idagdag mo pa migraine jan.

so nagpadiagnose nako. at eto na nga kinikwento ko na sa inyo ang kagandahang asal na dulot ng aking sarili. ang pagseselfmedicate. amoxicillin was too strong for me pala to jump into it without knowing na hindi naman bacterial infection ang cause ng sakit ko.  in fact, pinalala nya pala. :)

my uvula was literally dangling inside my throat. so i feel like im choking every second i swallow my saliva. or anything. para shang may nakabarang blade sa sobrang sakit pag lumulunok. at ang sagot lang... advil and difflam. great.

ok na ako. at di na mauulit ang katarantaduhang sakit ko.

im also pretty excited with my next project with another company. working with abhie, ivan and jp is a fun experience and shempre new level of our friendship namin ang magkakasama kami sa isang company pero iba iba ng departments. medyo biggie nga sakin tong hahawakan ko ngayon kasi its on events. nung inexplain kanina sakin, gumagalaw yung right eyebrow ko involuntarily, na parang wala lang... iniisip ko, shit baka naman na mild stroke na ako sa dami ng sinasabi ni JP. LOL pero kidding aside... im really looking forward to it coz its pretty huge.

the rain was pouring crazily, at kahit may sinat ako, i went to the meeting and its really a pleasure knowing na ill be working there.

last friday, nagkita nga pala kami nina mamu, seven, leeza, hannah, anna, bunchu sa JT's sa esguerra tapos tumambay sa starbucks timog. damn i missed them so much. kanina dapat may Bourne Ultimatum advanced screening kami pero di na ako nakasama dahil nga dun sa meeting.
